(At any rate since I became a kindle user.)This one was recommended in Stephen King's son's (Joe Hill) story. I'm glad Ring Lardner is still available and being read. One of the recommendations for this book is from Elmore Leonard. I can totally see the influence. Elmore Leonard's most impressive ability is his dialogue. He wrights the way people really talk. Ring Lardner does so even more! The misspellings, mispronunciations and malapropisms are so real and the thoughts just flow so naturally and so true-to-life.
I'm so glad I was able to experience his writing!
